Now you are beginning to touch upon the "reasons" why I dislike auctions in general. All aspects being discussed are nothing more than twists of tactics used years ago in live auctions. In my opinion, auctions are difficult to monitor to assure honesty. Why bother??? I can buy the chips I want elsewhere. If one puts a little effort into "buying and selling" you really don't need auctions.

Don't bid! Don't get involved with Ebay and you will not have the frustration you currently have <g>.

I also support our club auction even though I do not participate. This is not an inconstancy but merely my common sense approach to the club's method of raising money. These are my opinions, If you think about what I've written you will find a solid answer for yourself without the hassle of those who do not agree. Best, Jim
