As I stated earlier, I keep a ZERO balance. My account has often gone as much as 60 ~ 90 days without ANY activity, still open and not the slightest hint they intend to close it anytime soon. I find if I need to buy, the money gets transferred from my bank. If I sell, once the deal is done I move the money to my bank.
My chief complaint is that paypal touts itself as business friendly and designed with business in mind. That is true for a mom/pop out of the garage busines. I tried to set up a paypal account for a non-profit corporation that has been in business since 1947 and several hundred thousand dollars in the bank. They would only treat it like an individual's account. We did not have an "Business Owner's Social Security Number" OR an "Business Owner's Credit Card". There is no "Owner" we are owned by a group and run by a board of directors. Paypal wants a HUMAN ENTITY only not a true business. The problem is that without the credit card or ss# only $500 per month can be transferred per month. We deal with $1000 transactions, this would be a huge bottleneck in funds. Call a human and explain this? Not possible, there seem to be NO THINKING PEOPLE there and there is NO ONE with authority to adjust/correct policy. They are all robots.
