should be a part of this hobby. Have you announced your candidacy for office? Maybe formed a committee to promote slabbing? Voulenteered for something? Done anything of value for the CC & GTCC at all?

The only thing I see in your post is a slam to those that dont pay megabucks for thier chips. Did you ever stop and think that if it were not for those that collect the lower priced chips there may not be a hobby and your own chips would be worthless?

I spent the better part of my life collecting and dealing in sportscards, especially in vintage unopened material. Some of my packs are very, very valuable. However I dont think people who collect packs under $100 are somehow beneath me. In fact if it were not for the five and dime collectors, the hobby of Sportscards would have ended long before I had the time to enjoy it.

Personally I dont like slabbing and none of my chips or for that matter my cards are slabbed even in an industry where slabbing is prevelant. Have I signed the pledge?... No. Do I agree with slabbing..... No.

So in my opinion, feel free to make your mind up whatever way you like, but please dont degrade our other members by knocking what they collect and telling us what a great collection you have. It sounds kind of silly doesnt it?
