The O'Dwyer's chip I have is like yours, though not scratched, but it's smooth on the outer rim and has concentric circles in the cener.

I have seen a few variations on chips with concentric circles. it appears many manufacturers played with the circles molds.

1 Small circles near rim and larger in the center.

2 Uniform size circles over all.

3 On a Diamond mold.

4 Smooth round edge a space and circles in the center.

5 Smooth near edge, a step down to circles in center.

6 On a small key mold.
