1) I log into my papal account and am greeted with a message saying my account is restricted because I am in violation of their Acceptable Use Policy (AUP).
2) They don't tell me how I violated the AUP. They say I can resolve the matter by typing "I Agree" on a form that basically says I promised to abide by the AUP from now on.
3) As I read the next paragraph I see where it says that I am aware that I have violated the policy. Well, you know that didn't set well with me. I wouldn't agree to it because I felt like I had done nothing wrong.
4) I fill out a form online asking them what I am supposed to have done wrong.
5) About an hour later, after geting no reply from them and after searching my spam folder to make sure I had not received any email notices, I decided to call them.
6) The woman I talked to could only advise me to talk to the AUP department. Then, she asked me if I had sold any casino chips. I told her yes and she said that that was probably the problem as they were "gambling related". I politely told her that was a bunch of BS and explained that ebay owned paypal and that chips were a HUGE category on ebay. She suggested I email the AUP people.
7) Sometime around midnight, I receive this email from them:

8) Now I am livid. They have denied an appeal that I had no yet made!! I fired off an email to them telling them that I wouldn't sign the affidavit admitting to any wrongdoing. Also that the only appeal I had made was for them to advise me what I was supposed to have done wrong. I then told them lots of things, but explained to them that I was a chip collector and was not in any business selling or buying them. I explained that collecting casino chips was no different than collecting coins, casino matchbooks or casino swizzle sticks and that they needed to get someone in charge to look over this issue and fix my account.
9) I guess they work late at PayPal because at 2:30 AM I receive this email.

10) So, everything should be fine now except for one thing. I no longer trust PayPal like I did before. I had a couple thousand in my paypal account when this started. I have $1 now.
