David has raised $1,000's for the building fund that most people do not know about.
David offered to host the Slabfee website at no cost to the Slabfree Club.
No one else stepped in and offered.

SLAB FREE CLUB and SLAB FREE List.
They are two different entities.

List signers and Club members can and do have different thoughts about slabbing.
They mesh on only one thought:
"Slabbing is bad for the hobby."

They differ greatly on how to keep Slabbing out of the hobby.

NO ONE, including me has the authority to talk for the Slabfree Club.
I am one of 5 members of the board. I would never post in the boards name without authorization.

Any post I make concerning slabs are my own opinions unless it states in the post, it is coming from the SF board.

Old timers remember the “Slab Wars” and the victory we won.
New members do not know the details and therefore ask questions when they see a post about slabs. Unfortunately they get bits and pieces.

I do not see a big slab threat at this time. If and when a threat comes, we still have a war chest to fight with, thanks to generous SF club members and list signers.

I believe we can credit you with being the 1st anti-slabist.
The credit for the Slabfree movement can be credited to several club members. I hesitate to name names as I will forget some and be in trouble. They know who they are.
I bet they all remember the “Great Slab Wars” and the good times we had fighting and winning it. Lifelong friends were made.
