While there are many valid reasons why new versions of the chip rack take so long, there are just as many reasons as to why this is not good enough. Three years waiting for a new edition that will already be obsolete before the ink is dry is not acceptable.

This is the electronic age not the pre internet age. IMO When new chips are released, the new ref number and other data should be released by the club immediately. I for one would certainly pay a subscription fee for this service.

For those of us that keep a database of chips, going back and spending countless hours updating TCR numbers is a pain.

Say what you want, TCR or something similar needs to be on the internet and updated regularly.
