I don't know if the story is true or not ... but I am somewhat familiar with the seller, Nicholas Bates, who is a CC & GTCC member, and who is very knowledgeable about Carribean chips.
Ralph Pollack also is a very knowledgeable chipper and he wrote the book on the subject. I don't know who is right and who is wrong. Is it possible that perhaps both gentlemen could be correct ... depending upon interpretation?
