Janice and I returned from 2 weeks at our beach place and 2+ weeks visiting friends in NV, ID, MT, UT and had great times.

1. 8,000+ posts on this board since I last signed in. I'll not go back and read ‘em as I'm guessing - someone found a great chip, congrats; the cartoons/jokes were mostly good; the members arguing about “whatever” are still arguing; some new issues have raised hackles; Happy Birthdays to all; and our deepest condolences to those in despair.
2. Andy, Count, Michael, Mike, Jim, Kerry and Marc - Dodgers sprinted ahead from the awful end of July slump.

1. Michael Knapp – sorry but I didn’t get to visit the card rooms. Fishing trumps chips for me. Thanks for the heads up though.
2. We did re-visit some places that have outstanding steak dinners and can recommend the Cowboy Smokehouse in Panguitch, UT; Sir Scott’s Oasis in Manhatten, MT; and Grizzly Bar in Roscoe, MT.
3. I had my picture taken by a sign at 10,000+ on the Bear Tooth highway. Dr. Ross would have a fit for sure.
4. Christine/Sheldon Smith and Jane Voller - I’ll get after that list soon, hopefully.

Finally, John Benedict’s post that school is starting. Man, that thought dominated my mind for about 60 of my 66 years, glad to be retired. Now Sunday is just another day and I know I’m getting near the weekend because the newspaper gets heavier.
