Pepper - Ruhl is the most recent casino in Nice; played there several times. If your pink, plastic laminated chip is approx. 40mm (1-1/2") and having a gold "10" in the center with black border...then it's current, or at least was current a few years ago. The number on the bottom is simply a serial number which is done during the manufacturing process. Nobody really pays any attention to them anymore. Believe-it-or-not, not too many collectors have pieces from Ruhl; not really frequented by Americans...mostly Italians from over the border and the local French. I better stop here, because I can go on and on and on and.....
