helper to my two grown children when incidentals require both the time of my wife, Ethel & myself. Our son is a trauma surgeon in Beaumont, TX & our daughter (who will have our first grandchild within a week), is an award winning high school science teacher in the greater Houston area. It is almost as busy now as when my wife, Ethel, and I were full time teachers. Ethel taught high school math & I was a high school chemistry teacher. We both taught in the greater Houston area for over thirty-five years. I enjoy collecting CIC chips, small town Nevada chips, casino ashtrays, casino pins, foreign chips & especially Puerto Rican chips & old unopened packages of baseball, football, basketball & hockey cards ( I have collected them since the 1970's). Both my wife & I enjoy attending the local chip club meeting in Houston each month & we are very proud to be friends with Doug "Cigarman" Smith, who is also a member of the local club. He is running for CC & GTCC treasurer, and we support him in this endeavor, as he is a very likable & comptent person. Mike Hodges
