Roland is taking a lot of heat for the Borland knock-off chips at ChipTalk too. There is pretty much universal disapproval and I belive that's probably why he chose not to sell.

The folks at ChipTalk aren't all bad, or even mostly bad. Most are interesting and thoughtful people who are fascinated with chips.

Some are naieve about chip collecting though and have supported his efforts. That's the difference between these two sites - the folks at ChipTalk are chip lovers, not chip collectors.

I have purchased chips from Roland in the past. I've informed him that I won't buy from him again as I don't want my money funding his efforts. Maybe more will do the same.
