Hank Boss, a collector in Bakersfield, Ca, has friends in the
Chinese Historical Society who translate characters on chips.
The translations are usually not the name of the card room but
a symbol such as wisdom, good fortune, long life, etc. There
are several Oriental chip ID's in the Pictorials of TGT-2 and
Larry Eastman's CA book. If not found there, you have to find
someone familiar with the card room & its chips. Try Hank,
C.T. Rogers or Mel Jung.
