Re: Gaming Regs for Indian Casinos--Pacific Northw

You hit it Steve. Wisconsin has actually caught a small northwoods casino with decks short on 10's. (don't know about the 2's, but it makes sense) What happened? Slap on the hand... The larger casinos have no reason to fudge on the decks, they are doing enough traffic and turning enough profit that they don't want to fool around and risk losing all that money, or even hae a hint that they are doing anything dishonest.

With the reports on Mole Lake financial problems, there was always a note that the problem wasn't cheating gamblers, but with internal accounting practices. Same thing... it wasn't rigged decks or slots or anything else but internal politics.

When I tell people that the minimum payout for slots in WI is regulated and that for VP the same holds true, buts it's actually higher, they don't believe me. That's because at 87% payout, the casino is cleaning up, and the people who play slot can't believe it. What? Didn't they ever get cleaned out playing a 98% slot in LV... <G>

Did anyone wonder why the most profitable casino in the world (percentage) is in Milwaukee WI? They had 400 slots, pull tabs and bingo. The slots are the secret.
