As I said above, both Al Rollins and Victor Martinez confirmed PR (as in Puerto Rico). They never confirmed Casino de Puerto Rico.

I and most collectors felt it had to be Casino de Puerto Rico. This is from memory but I believe the date of the club and the date of the chips (1923) are a close match.

Al Rollins, agreed with my PR attribution, in fact said he was positive that they were PR chips. However, because of the chips' high quality he felt that they may be from Casino de Caomo. Al told me that it was a posh private joint and that he never found any chips from there.

Lastly ---- why I felt that are PR chips. The USPC tag on these chips lists "Gonales Padin Co., New York Office" as place of delivery. First thing to realize with USPC is that most Caribbean and South American chips were delivered to the "New York Office" rather than directly out of the US. Second, USPC was a notorious bad speller. A major PR chip distributor was Gonzalez-Padin, San Juan, PR. GP was a Macy's type store (The Casino Espanol, PR crest & seals were delivered to Gonzalez Padin in San Juan).

As soon as I saw the Gonales Padin I knew there was a mispelling. The New York Office was another clue.
