Waiting on my desk this morning was the club newsletter. Having a break, I took the opportunity of skimming through it waiting for my next appointment. One of the features I have always looked forward to, was Janice O'Neals extensive article on chips that have been issued around the country. The article was there but no pictures of chips. I read the opening comments & couldn't believe what I saw. Folks, it appears that Janice will no longer be a contributor to our magazine after 11 years of hard, unselfish, tedious & voluntary work. I know that many people post new issues here & on other sites & the chip scans are in color. However, Janice always described each of the chips in great detail & included tokens from bars, grocery stores & gas stations. I have saved every issue of the magazine since I first became a member & use them as a reference when needed. Janice's articles will be sorely missed & the magazine, IMHO, will not be what it has been in the past, in spite of some good articles that authors submit. Thanks Janice for a job well done.
