I also wonder how they could possibly regulate the companies that run online poker sites...I believe all are run from abroad, and as Gene said
"How would you audit anything they told you?"

It seems that most poker sites have parent and so many subsidiary companies ( payment partners, deposit programs, sister sites, affilate programs, etc.) that it would be quite difficult to assess & regulate their businesses.
