This contest is a "Lasts Longest" contest for the Final Event of the WSOP starting in a little more than a week.
Here are the Rules:
1) You must be a club member to play - This assures us that all players are bound by the club code of ethics.
2) Each entry chooses one player and promises one $5 chip in nice condition.
3) You can enter as many times as you like but for each entry you must commit another chip. That would for example give you 4 different guesses for 4 chips.
4) Only players finishing in the money will qualify for a win. If no one chooses a player that finishes in the money, there will be no winner.
5) The player to finish with the highest rank in the money wins. So even if places 149-160 pay the same, the actual ranking determines the winner. If more than one enterant picks a player and that player wins, the prize pool will be split among those that picked that player.
6) I will keep track of all players picks and make the announcement of the winner when the event has concluded.
7) All losing players will mail thier chip directly to the winner.
8) You must post your name and member number along with your guess in answer to this post.
All players getting paid should be listed so there is no argument about what place someone went out. With 8000 players the main event should pay about 800 so there is an excellent chance someone picked will place.
Good Luck to all,
Doug
Here is a full list of players that are expected so far and the total of $5 chips they owe. Looks like we are only 24 hours into the contest and have 47 entrys.
