Re: Quote of the day.,...losing your house!
In Response To: Quote of the day.,... ()

Before you had the internet where did you play poker? At your friends house, at gatherings, parties, maybe in some warehouse with fellas you didn't even know.

I once had a Uncle Frank, he was married and had one son. They owned a small house on a street in Utica NY. When my Mom and I went over she would see her sister and I would go hang out with my cousin. Well Uncle Frank wasn't around much, he was either working or gambling someplace.

Every week Uncle Frank would have Poker at his house. My aunt and cousin would have to stay in the bedroom all nite while they played poker. Nice guy isn't he to have his wife and kid stay cooped up in one room while he entertains his friends with Poker.

Well one week Uncle Frank was pressed for cash, he took the deed to the house in put it in the pot. You do know the out come of this don't you?

Uncle Frank lost the house, they had a couple months to get out. They rented up the street at another relatives house but from that rented house you could see their little house they owned down the street.

I hope your luckier then Uncle Frank was at Poker.

I know I am, I don't play but I won't condem you for playing. I just wanted to share this true story about what poker can do for you.

Good Luck tonite Uncle Frank (where ever you are)!
