As a seller & buyer on ebay...I appreciate the feedback system on both sides of the fence. I have learned that those with little or no feedback don't put the same effort into completing transactions timely & professionally. While some may justify not posting feedback as being "worthless" or "time-consuming"...I am sure they too feel more comfortable sending money to a "stranger" with a better rating than say, sunglasses.
I feel that we owe it to the auction community to post feedback....both positive or negative...it may not be a perfect system...but statistically....you will be happier with a transaction from a higher rated seller....and you will be paid quicker by a higher rated buyer.
I post feedback on every transaction...good or bad...every time. It takes very little time...and I think those that receive feedback appreciate it as well. Feedback is a tool in the auction arena...when I am considering a purchase...I check the sellers feedback...and sometimes I decide to pass. Without feedback...we would all be at a "strangers" mercy...feedback simply equates to MORE information...and more information allows us to make better decisions.
If the best defense for not posting feedback is "that it takes too much time"...or that "it is worthless"...than I disaggree!
I don't ask for feedback...but I always give it...and I always appreciate it!
Take it or leave it....that's my opinion...........Tammy Mills
