Re: A Clover Question?
In Response To: A Clover Question? ()

I wish I knew. sad

I've never seen anything from the Clover Club, except the name in reference guides.

Without the exact date that the Eldorado closed, I figured that the Clover Club opened when the Eldorado closed.

The Clover Club was licensed for slots and 21, I guess it's possible that they leased some games from the Eldorado...?

I've also wondered if the Clover Club might have been licensed, but never actually opened (not likely, but...??).

We have a matchbook from the Horseshoe (hopefully to be posted later today in a Horseshoe thread) that mentions the Eldorado Corp. IF that's the same Eldorado Corp. that ran the Eldorado Casino, and they still owned it when Benny first opened the Horseshoe...then the Eldorado Corp. owned it during the Clover Club time, too..........right???

Sigh....I've always had a problem keeping casino ownerships straight...
