foil, as it wears off to show a silver-tone. In some instances, the under layer is brown or yellowish and not silver-tone.

As for the two shades of blue, it is quite possible that they are from two different production runs, or two different batches of mixed material in the same run.

I do not believe that the shade of one is tied to the coloration of the hot-stamp.
