Considering his mother's wish...I doubt if this is kidnapping. If our society acts any different than in the interest of this now free person, we are in trouble as a country. This is a very unique situation, Archie, and though I understand your thinking regarding other children in the world...this is a child whose mother had a deatwish.
Granted, this child is a political football at this time...but has anyone stopped to think of any pressure his natural father is under right now in knowing what is best for his son and not having the freedom and whose ability to even know how to think along those lines has been taken away from him. I don't know of any recorded case history, anywhere, where a parent did not want the best for their child in such a situation. I've seen families torn apart in order to have just one child reach freedom. When one sees this with his own two eyes it's very hard to think differently. We, as a nation of freedom, must not allow impisonment of this child. May God help him where others failed.
