As I was on my way home after the chip show last week, I decided to see the new Hyatt hotel and casino at Lake Las Vegas that opened in December. This is a pretty remote facility, about 8-10 miles off the freeway, past the Reserve casino. It's built on a man-made lake and has home sites in addition to the Moroccan themed Hyatt.

Very small casino with 8-10 tables, obviously intended for the residents there and the hotel guests, not for tourists and LV locals. Nice golf course still being constructed.

I picked up just a few of the house chips, and was able to get new ones out of the vault. Pictured is the hotel as viewed from the lake. The $5 appears to be a grand opening, but just says First Edition and the opening date. If you need these, they are face plus $2 per chip, postage included.
