This Elks sponsored summer event used to be a really big deal in Las Vegas. Every summer there was a rodeo and the downtown turned western with beard contests, sheriffs roaming the streets, and a jail for tourists that didn't act 'western' enough and were sentenced by the 'kangaroo court'.
There were several pin-back badges issued each year, starting in 1935. The last event was in 1998, although it was supposed to be staged again this year as part of the LV birthday celebration.
Here are the pins from the 1950's, the earliest I've been able to find. Keep your eyes open in the Las Vegas flea markets and antiques shops for these.
