I think the Palms chips Jason had made are using a design close enough to the Palms trademark logo that he could well expect someone from the Palms' legal department to be in touch with him.
I don't see much that could happen with the Condado knockoffs, unless there is a current trademark/copyright on the designs/logo.
I'll guarantee that the Bellagio "B" is a trademark, and while the chips are being made in China, putting the manufacturer out of reach of the law, the stateside distributor as well as the buyer(s) could all find themselves in hot water.
Intellectual property is just as significant as real property in that stealing it is illegal.
Cool looking home sets are one thing, trademark infringements are an entirely different matter.
