Item #7 of the CCGTCC Code of Ethics is:
"To represent casino collectibles as genuine only when to the best of my knowledge and belief, such items are in fact authentic, and when no significant question of their authenticity has been raised."
When someone advertises a chip as being a "CASINO CHIP" when in fact it isn't, I think it is the responsibility of all Club members to take action to correct the situation. Not everyone has the leisure to fully research each potential purchase. Sometimes you may be away from your chip collecting guides, like at work, and see an interesting chip you've never seen before ending soon on eBay. Sellers should always specifically state that they are selling "FANTASY CHIPS". I will continue to take appropriate actions when I see this happen.
