I have a $5 Tropworld (AC I guess). 1996 New Year's Day Philadelphia Mummers Association. Hat and Cane with overlay. Dark red with 4 dayglo orange edgespots. Sorry -- no scanner.

The edges are really soft and spongy, yielding really easily to a fingernail.

Anybody know about this? Is it intentional?Maybe a coke spilled on it at a table??
