Don't feel bad, I doubt very much that anyone got that chip, by the time the auction was over for 99 cents (or if it did close for 99 cents his shipping and handeling was probably $20.)
Those chips were used in the London casino in or about 1970 to 1980. They were produced by the Burt Co. A year or two ago quite a large group of these came on the market causing the price to drop to around $15 to $20 today. I believe that once the supply has been soaked-up by collectors the values on these will begin to go up again, as has happened with other Playboy chips. So, like I said, don't feel bad you probably bought at the right time. Also, included in all those chips, there were some errors that are being found that would make them more valuable. One I'd like to pickup is this chip without the black inset.
