Earliest one I have in my collection is the 1991 Year of the Goat from Artichoke Joe's in California. It is a $5 pure silver chip. I've heard it called a "choken" as well. It looks like a silver strike but don't think it qualifies as one since they don't have slots at non-Indian California casinos.
