I just won an auction for a chip that I needed for my northern Nevada collection, not expensive ($85) but not cheap either.
I paid by PayPal and got the following response:
"Note from Seller: Thanks for your payment. Your item is on the way. I will leave you Positive Feedback after you receive your item, are satisfied, and leave me feedback."
When a sale is consummated and the buyer pays, what right does the seller have to hold his feedback hostage? What else does the buyer have to do to earn positive feedback?
When I sell, I leave positive feedback when I'm paid and ship that same day. I ask buyers to do the same upon receipt--most do, some don't.
So, I've decided that sellers who wait for positive feedback from me when I'm the buyer just won't get any feedback from me unless there's a problem that can't be resolved. No positive, no neutral, no negative, nothing--
