Giles, the counsel for the tribes' chief lobbying arm in Washington, said Indians already have demonstrated they can regulate their own casinos.
And a fox can watch a hen house...
The way the tribes regulate and punish offenders, is like a toothless, old dog, chained to a telephone pole, guarding the bank.
While I'm 100% for Tribal casinos and gambling, and respect, and admire, the good that it has done for most of the tribes, for them to claim they regulate, is a joke.
If the same rules that Nevada Gaming runs by, were applied to tribal casinos, a good 1/4 of them would have been closed down.
What's will happen, if the states don't negotiate, and the Feds are forbidden to arbitrate, is the Tribal Gaming will have no regulations, other than their own. No Compacts = No rules.
