The last time I played 21 at the Hilton, I noticed that their shoes had chips inbedded in them. I asked one of the pit bosses if, perhaps, he had any of those chips laying aroung that had "fallen out" of a shoe. He argued with me that it was simply a sticker stuck on the shoe and not an actual chip imbedded in the shoe. I tried to make a wager that if it was a chip, as I proposed, that I could dig it out and keep it. He didn't go for it.....and he still thinks that it is a sticker and not a chip.

Does anyone have any idea how many casinos still use a shoe chip?
