As my wife left this morning, she came back in & handed me a $5 chip that she said was just sitting on our front door mat...no note, no nuthin'!! Chip elf?? Chip fairy?? Nah...just a GREAT chipper paying off his $5 Indy pool debt !!!

Many thanks to Fred Bergman...sorry I missed you but had a late night & was either sleeping or eating. A couple of great things about Fred...my first convention, I happened to choose a seat next to Fred at the auction & he really made me feel welcome. Kind of funny to find out that he live only a few miles from me. I then returned his act of kindness by NOT sending him his chip for winning the baseball All-Star pool a few years ago .... he finally it got it, even though it was eight months or so late and he never gave me any grief!!
