My Grandmother, Margaret Marson passed away on May 24, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Margaret was a long-term employee of the provincial government as well as a farm wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. After retirement, she enjoyed spending winters in her second home in Mesa, Arizona and spent winters there as long as she was able. Margaret enjoyed the Legion, playing cards and spending time with her friends and family. She loved to go to the casino and play the slots and did lots of bus trips to Laughlin from Mesa.

My Grandma was the first to introduce me to the lure of Vegas, bringing back souveniers from LV and always a few slot tokens when there actually were some. Before she passed away, she gave me a set of mugs she brought home in the 70's.

She will be missed.

Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts. Although it is hard to bear, it was for the best and she was still herself right to the end.
