Robert,
First, I think nobody commented on the first part of your post because it
was something that had been stated in numerous threads over the past year
or so.
Second, ANYTHING relating to the sale and receipt is of importance and
concern to the buyer. The post office is part of doing business so I have
no sympathy there. We all go through that whether it be for trades or
sales. I did not suggest you self insure at your own expense. You're
mistaken if you think no right minded person would object to you taking
their money and not insuring through the USPS. I do. If you do not want
to insure through the USPS tell the buyer up front. They can then decide
if that alleviates their concerns and satisfies their desire for
insurance. I problably would not request insurance on a low dollar item.
However, regardless of the purchase price or value of the item, the buyer
should get what they ask and pay for. Many would not feel comfortable
without USPS insurance.
Third, I find your use of the words "sadistic, no right minded,
outrageous and selfish" as inappropriate and uncall for.
