You are right, it doesn't make me feel any better.

My basement is completely finished and looks just like any other part of the house, so it is just like the ground floor getting flooded.

I just finished a few minutes ago completely moving my office, equipment, etc. into another room so that I could work. I had better things to do with 10 hours of my time.
