Thanks for your note. I found out right after it happened but Doug asked me not to say anything. I guess officially it is/was classified a heart attack. What happened was a "few" of his arteries backed up due to clogging causing severe chest pain.(similar to the chest pain one gets from indigestion) Doug told me it was much more intense and lasting and therefore was taken to the hospital.

No damage was done to the heart. The condition was discovered BEFORE any damage could take place. The clogged arteries were "ballooned" and he was sent home Friday like you stated. I talked to him each day and he still was optimistic about making the Arizona Charlies show. His condition is weak and it will take a few weeks until he is as good as new. He will not be at Charlies and will be missed very much.

Young Doug will be there to deliver those auction pieces won by individuals in the Fuller auction in person. Best, Jim
