This thread cracks me up.
I cocktailed at Flamingo Las Vegas for 3 years and every now and then I'd be called in to serve roulette.
Well, since no-one ever told me I had to turn them in I just didn't. I had about 100 before they caught on. I just said, "Sorry. I didn't know they were different than regular chips."
Of course by then I'd sorted through and collected a couple of complete sets before turning in the rest.
But I HAVE noticed that they use a back-up method. It doesn't matter HOW many are playing at the table they INTENTIONALLY leave one color/letter out of the play.
So even if you have a group of 7 that takes over a table and you each confiscate one you'll STILL only end up with an A,B,C,E,F,G. D will be missing.
Miggy.
PS. If you're a non casino employee I always find the best strategy is to pretend you're drunk, be very NICE and apologize profusley for being so "stupid" when you put a couple in your pocket.
