Hi Gary; I guess the problem is that many of these so-called non-collector ebay sellers is that if a place is closed, or took out live games, or any other reason that the chips are no longer on the tables, that makes them automatically "rare" in their view. What they fail to realize, long before the Aladdin or the Sands or the Hacienda was torn down, these chips were picked up by the stacks by collectors who were there. While some of these chips may be "hard to get" today... or maybe even scarce at face value (which is what a few of today's collectors are looking for yesterday's chips for).... they certainly don't qualify as "rare"....
