I didn't see anything about a PayPal charge, David. Are you talking about the fund manager's charge? The quoted return is after fund expenses.

I use a Fidelity money market fund for my excess cash now but it doesn't yield as much as PayPal's. No FDIC insurance, but it's a real long shot that it would be a problem with big banks like BOFA and Wells.
