Mike. You totally missed the point. We don't whine; we try to enlighten people here and on the board about misleading ads. As to the fantasy chip matter. I personally have written 11 eBay dealers pointing out politely why they were misdescribing their chips, leading naive buyers to think they were getting a real casino chip. Now if that's whining, Mike, make the most of it. I plead guilty. But if you go to eBay now, you will see that many honest dealers still selling fantasy [which they have every right to do] are now careful and accurate in their descriptions.
Mike, most of us collectors care about each other and the "newbies" and so long as Greg permits it, I'll continue to watch the auctions and provide information here and to the dealer.
By the way folks, the "50" ivory--neat chip is at $388 and climbing. Great chip. Only sorry that my father carelessly used my inheritance to support himself leaving me too little to bid on the good chips.
