Here's another price datum for you, Archie. The red EWING mold dollar chip from Caribe Hilton sold on eBay a few days for about $70. Several motivated bidders were involved so may or may not be typical, but I'd never seen the red chip before.
Black's catalog (CHC1aa) has it as a B value or $15-20.
