I have an old "psychedelic" poster somewhere still at my mom's house promoting a concert at one of the nearby highschools featuring CTA and the Cryan' Shames. I grew up in Chicago, and I remember vividly hearing about CTA playing the highschool circuit...when they were still "nobodies"...Man, that was a LONG time ago!
