I don't personally think that a guy who isn't a collector trying to sell a total of 31 chips from the estate of a deceased relative is overly imposing on our hobby or this BB. Pete's been accepting advice, and since this isn't his field (taking into consideration the circumstances), I'd be inclined to do the same if I were in his position. He asked us for help (when contacted concerning verbage of an item description), has received it from many corners and wants to maximize the return on correct descriptions of an estate liquidation.
I've had 30 eBay lots active at once, but I wasn't selling anything that I didn't know what any of them where valued to those that collect them. I'd much rather see someone like Pete accept our advice and still offer the chips individally, and post notices in this forum. He could have sold the whole lot without asking questions or taking any advice from anyone here. I do know of, and this goes back to a thread from a month or two ago, collections being sold by heirs at under face value....
