Plaque of the Day (Acrylic Encased)

When I made the trade for this plaque I expected a nice looking, "business card" sized plaque, encased in acrylic. What I got was a nice looking, VERY LARGE sized plaque encased in acrylic. grin
Anyone have any history on Maxim's in London?
