they were within their rights. Every casino in Nevada has a sign at the entrance that advises that chips are the property of the casino.
I am at a loss as to why you guys did not know that the Tarzan chips are in demand by collectors and are valued at $50 each. A much better deal than $5 in match play.
The chips were never allowed to be cashed in, so it is doubtful that the employee was taking them for that purpose. I would suspect a reason for eBay first, but then again, he could have been following instructions of management. That managemen, BTW is new, since the Tarzan chips were first issued.
