I can't resist answering the last post, even if I am exaggerating things. I am sure I'll get a lot of grief for doing so, but..........
This is the last post, "When it comes to Venetian LE's you are dealing with a Casino that has a nasty habit of putting all of their LE's on the
tables as soon as they are released. If your not there when that happens then you end up having to get them off of the
tables. Since they use Paul-Son chips they are going to get nicked VERY quickly & are of little use to collectors or dealers
who want uncirculated chips. Bally's & the Gold Coast do the same thing & what happens is that instead of the chips
walking out the door in the numbers they should they instead stay on the tables getting beat to death. I have tried
explaining this to these Casinos, but, it has fallen on deaf ears."
A modest proposal: why not have the LE's never appear in a grubby casino, what with all those people, hands, fingers and gambling going on? Why not have a subscription service whereby they are shipped directly from the factory in Mexico to the collector? Maybe better yet, e-mail the collector digital images of the chips instead of the real chips; that way they can never be nicked? Why................[censored, <g>]?
