I had heard that the new hotel was one of the reasons they delayed the reopening butr I am not sure why. I know that construction had begun several months before the hurricane and the new hotel was supposed to be on top of the existing building. They had the construction crane in place and the center of the casino barricaded off. Maybe the hurricane did some damage to the construction area?
