YOU SELL:
As soon as the buyer gets you payment they have done their part...SIMPLY, You Sell, They Pay,You leave appropriate feedback. Then, it's your turn to deliver the product. If you did something wrong work it out. If not take your lumps, it's that simple.
If you hold feedback HOSTAGE you are obviously doing something wrong and know you probably screwed your buyer and have to sit with a tight backside waiting for them to get the item and be unhappy.
IF YOU BUY:
Happy with what you got:
Immediately leave feedback.
UNHAPPY WITH WHAT YOU BOUGHT:
Take the bull by the horns but be polite...Go to the Ebay Site Map and look at far right hand side column where it says "Connect" then scroll down to the click item that says, "Find Contact Information." Enter auction number and user ID...Ebay will Email you the phone number for the individual. Then call them...Don't screw around with Email that in most cases they won't answer anyway.
So,get some hair on your monkey and call them and state your case.
No Feedback...Who cares...the rest of your feedback should speak for itself.
Multiple Items: Well, your call...I have one guy that buys 100's of items from me...I give him a feedback for every one...He doesn't give me one...I just figure I need to do that as he has bought well over $100,000.00 from me in the last few years...You be the judge...Many just leave one as you only get a count from a unique buyer.
Finally, EBAY doesn't care...They will charge you to be in the Square Trade deal...That is just a bunch of crap...95% of the time if you get a negative you probably deserved it.
After about 25,000 transactions I have 12 negatives...I will get them rounded up and post them soon and an explanation. Watch out for the newbies and anyone with a religious connotation user ID.
It's really simple...describe well, use good pictures and if you boo-boo take care of it immediately.
Buying and not happy...do as I said above...
Happy Valentines Day...
